As long as people will employ me as a researcher!

Good question! My job varies with time. So I am likely to stay professor till I retire, but I may do different sorts of things – more teaching, more management, radio/TV work, more research. etc.

Well – my current job lasts another two years. Then I know I will have to find something else. This is a bit of a pain!

But as a scientist I can apply for jobs anywhere in the world. At the moment we work closely with people in Germany, Hungary, Switzerland, and Cyprus on a daily basis. So maybe a job will come up in one of those places.
