• Question: are you freaked out by any of the things you find in your investigations?

      Not really. The last time I was freaked out was probably when I was in high school and I had to dissect a heart. I’m not really made for dissecting dead things :S

      No – I can’t think of anything that is scary or disgusting in my work. I am sometimes freaked out by how complex my job is and the fact that it is going to take me a long time to get any answers 🙂

      I don’t mean to sound preachy, but I had to analyse some drug samples that poilce had got from the street to analyse them for the scanner I work on. Some of them had a drug content of only 3%

      – so if you thought you were taking cocaine you were actually taking only 3% and the other 97% was other random stuff which could be anything (talcum powder, caffeine and rat poison are some examples of things that drugs have been cut with). That seriously worried me. You wouldn’t buy food if you didn’t know what chemicals were in it……
