Question: Do you get any conflict from religous scientists? or do you generally get along?

I am religious and I am a scientist. So do I get conflict? Yes – all the time as I am always arguing with myself.

More seriously the religion/science question has been addressed by all scientists elsewhere on the web page. I think certain fundamentalists are problematic. Although I haven’t had them talk about my work I think current science is pretty incompatible with the world being formed in 6 days, 6,000 years ago for example. But then a literal view of the biblical creation story has not been part of mainstream Christian or Jewish theology for a very long time.
