      Not enough!

      New researchers start at around 28-30 thousand. The pay can go up if you get a more senior position in the university.

      The job has lots of advantages other than pay. It is a genuinely interesting job, nice working conditions, flexible hours, international travel, and so on. It is not just about the pay.
