Question: What is the downside of working in the Antarctic apart from the cold.

  I guess it’s the isolation. I really miss my friends and family especially at times like Christmas and birthdays. Sometimes if all my friends get together back home for a big party and I can’t go it makes me a bit sad.
  I also really miss having new clothes when I’m here for a long time, more than a year. And I miss colours – it is very white here!
