• Question: When you stand up to fast sometimes why do you sometimes feel a bit diszy or you get a pain in your heard?

      I get this sometimes too, I think it’s to do with lack of blood in your head, which can be caused by low blood pressure. I’m not sure about other causes though.

      basically a lkacxk of oxygen to the brain (as simple as that). That is why a a faint is self-correcting. You fall over and then the blood flows quickly again

      Hi Ellen

      This is just a fast change of the amount of work necessary to supply your brain with blood. There is just a brief time when the pressure of blood in your brain isn’t quite enough. You have to be careful!

      I once did this on top of a mountain! I was bending down looking at a really interesting flower that was growing at the top trying to identify it (typical scientist) and I stood up too quickly. Luckily I was roped at the time! 🙂
