• Question: Why did you want to do this project scandle? also why are you so interested into the human brain?

      I am interested in the human brain because it is a BIG scientific problem that nobody has fully worked out yet. It is exciting to be exploring something new.

      SCANDLE has three great things about it:

      (1) Everyone involved is an expert in their own field – working together with other great scientists is one of the great things about the job.

      (2) The project is practical as well as scientific. It is good to work with engineers who are interested in making things that work as well as scientists (like me) who are interested in simulations.

      (3) The project offers real possible benefits to the world – like low power smart computing devices and many other things.
